Accuracy, Distance and Speed - week 4
Students will test a variety of balls to determine which provide the best accuracy, distance and speed. They will then be given the opportunity to discuss techniques used to gain a greater distance (throw the ball with more force which in turn creates higher acceleration giving it more velocity/speed) or be more accurate. For example have a run up rather than propel the ball from a stationary position.

Changing the Game - week 5
Students will change one aspect of a modified sports game for the fun and novelty of it. This may encourage greater participation by students who may not have been enthusiastic about playing such games in the past. Students will then discuss the benefits of playing in two smaller groups rather than a whole class.
